Across Gaza, clinicians are working with rationed medication and with instruments that should have been replaced long ago. FAJR Global buys the medical supplies and medicines that hospital wards ask for and delivers them to the hospitals and clinics still operating.
The shortage in Gaza's hospitals
Gaza's Ministry of Health reported in March 2026 that 46% of essential medicines and 66% of medical consumables were at zero stock (WHO flash update, March 2026). At the same time, only 19 of Gaza's 36 hospitals were partially functional (WHO, March 2026). Without basic supplies such as wound dressings, antibiotics and surgical consumables, even a working hospital cannot treat its patients.
How FAJR delivers medical aid
FAJR purchases medical equipment and medications in response to what the clinical teams in Gaza report needing. Your donation buys the specific supplies that hospital wards have asked for, not generic aid. This kind of aid is rarely seen, but it often decides whether a patient can be treated.
FAJR is a doctor-led organization, and its own surgeons work in Gaza's hospitals. That clinical link is how the team knows what each ward actually needs. Across all its programmes, FAJR has delivered more than 263,000 medications (see our impact).
What your gift provides
$50 provides essential medicines for one patient. $150 buys wound-care supplies for a hospital ward. $500 provides medical equipment for a clinic still operating, and $1,000 funds a month of supplies for a busy ward.
Questions about this campaign
Can Zakat be used for medical supplies?
Yes. Medicines and supplies for patients who cannot afford care are a recognized use of Zakat. Every FAJR campaign is Zakat-eligible. Read more on our Zakat page.
How do supplies reach Gaza's hospitals?
FAJR buys what the clinical teams request and delivers it to hospitals and clinics still operating, working within the access routes available at the time.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. FAJR Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Tax ID (EIN) 83-1497239, and your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You receive a tax receipt by email.
Can I give without online fees?
Yes. Online payments carry a 3% card processing fee and a 1% platform processing fee. Give by Zelle to donate@fajr.org or by check payable to FAJR GLOBAL and the full amount reaches the work. How to give without fees.
Campaign updates
Every gift on this page turns into food on a plate within days. A gift of $9 funds one nutritious meal for a displaced family in Gaza. Your support is going straight to food, the transport to move it, and the teams distributing it with dignity.
A look at how a meal comes together: chicken prepared and seasoned in bulk, then cooked in large pots before being packed into trays and delivered while still warm. This is the same shift-based kitchen shown in the campaign photos.

Distribution is underway across displacement shelters in Gaza, reaching families who often cannot get to a market safely. Each parcel and hot meal is delivered by teams working directly where people are sheltering.
$50 provides essential medicines for one patient in a Gaza clinic.
