Results
With Gaza's farmland largely destroyed, most families depended on food baskets of canned and processed food, with almost no fresh produce. Malnutrition, anemia and weakened immunity were rising, especially among children. Between July 26 and August 18, 2025, FAJR Global delivered parcels of fresh vegetables to the most vulnerable households in northern and southern Gaza.
What the project delivered
- 10,000 fresh vegetable parcels
- 10,000 households reached, about 70,000 people
- Distributions in both northern and southern Gaza
As a medical organization, FAJR designed the parcels to add the vitamins and minerals that standard food baskets lack.
