Cardiac and Specialized Surgery Hospital Operations, Gaza

With Gaza's health system badly damaged and specialists and supplies in short supply, FAJR Global funded and ran the full operation of a cardiac and specialized surgery hospital at Public Aid Hospital from January 19 to April 18, 2026. Every part of the hospital ran as one system: medical administration, outpatient clinics, operating theaters, diagnostics, inpatient wards and support services.

What the project delivered

• 1,581 specialized surgical procedures
• 6,007 outpatient consultations
• Inpatient care for 154 patients
• 12 medical and surgical specialties running at the same time
• Support for about 170 to 180 medical, technical and administrative staff
• Uninterrupted services for the whole period

The project also strengthened the hospital's governance, quality assurance, patient safety, monitoring and medical records. Project value: USD 578,280.68.
