Results

At the height of the food crisis in southern Gaza, flour had become scarce and prices had soared. Between December 14, 2024, and January 22, 2025, FAJR Global distributed flour to the households that needed it most, so families could bake bread and cook regular meals at home.

What the project delivered

  • 12,000 bags of flour, 25 kg each: 300,000 kg in total
  • 12,000 households reached, about 84,000 people
  • Distributions across the governorates of southern Gaza

Priority went to displaced families who had lost their homes, large households, families with young children, older people, and people living with chronic illness or disability. Lists were checked with community committees, and every distribution was documented.
