FAJR Global announces appointment of Associate Chief Medical Officer

Osaama H. Khan, MD, FRCSC, an academic neurosurgeon at Northwestern Medicine, has been appointed Associate Chief Medical Officer, providing clinical leadership and overseeing MedEvac operations globally.

FAJR Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Osaama H. Khan, MD, FRCSC, as Associate Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Khan is an academic neurosurgeon at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago with expertise in complex cranial and skull base surgery, neuro-oncology, and high-acuity neurosurgical care. He has a strong record of academic scholarship, mentorship, and leadership within the neurosurgical community.

In his role at FAJR Global, Dr. Khan will provide clinical leadership across the organization and oversee medevac operations across global locations, supporting the delivery of timely, high-quality care in regions affected by conflict and catastrophe.

Dr. Khan has also served on FAJR Global’s international missions, including the 2024 deployment to Ramallah, Palestine, where he provided advanced neurosurgical care in a resource-limited setting.
