MedEvac Press Release: Successful Evacuation of Seven Children from Gaza to Jordan

January 28, 2026

It is my pleasure to share that on January 26, 2026, our global MedEvac team successfully and safely evacuated seven additional children from Gaza to Jordan raising the number of children and women evacuated to Jordan alone to 73 and more than 130 companions.

The 7 cases of last night include:

  • Three polytrauma patients requiring orthoplastic care, with possible involvement of additional specialties
  • One complex ophthalmology and maxillofacial case
  • One neurosurgical case
  • One complex limb deformity case
  • One brachial plexus injury

Congratulations to the MedEvac Team on yet another successful complex mission. Your dedication, commitment, and efforts as a team are recognized and deeply appreciated by the entire FAJR organization and its leadership team.

I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our partners who made this evacuation possible, including the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Jordanian government, represented by several ministries, most notably the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our colleagues at the Jordanian American Physicians Association (JAPA) as well as our partners in the private hospital sector in Jordan. Special appreciation goes to The Cities Hospital, which continues to be the first to welcome all of our patients for initial evaluation and care.

This incredible success would not have been possible without the support of our committed donors, who continue to stand behind this complex and costly operation and believe in our vision and mission of saving lives and limbs around the world.

Sincerely and respectfully,

Dr. Mosab Nasser
