FAJR Global is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its Gaza Ramadan Grocery Vouchers campaign, which provided vital relief to 2,805 families across the Gaza Strip throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

A Campaign Powered by Your Generosity

This Ramadan, supporters came together to answer the call, spending $844,701.10 on the campaign and raising $267,063 out of a $300,000 goal. Every dollar contributed went directly toward providing families in Gaza with weekly grocery vouchers across four weeks of Ramadan, with each family receiving $400 in total support. These donations were Zakat-eligible and tax-deductible, making it easy for donors to fulfill their religious obligations while making a tangible difference on the ground.

Through the distribution of 8,879 purchase vouchers, a total of 2,805 families were able to secure food, water, and other daily essentials; not just for a single day, but consistently throughout the entire holy month.

Each sponsorship through the Gaza Ramadan Grocery Vouchers campaign gave a family in Gaza access to weekly grocery vouchers, ensuring they had reliable, dignified access to food and drink throughout Ramadan. Rather than a one-time handout, this model of sustained weekly support meant families could plan, prepare, and observe the holy month with a sense of stability that so many of them have been denied for far too long.

Distribution efforts spanned both the southern and northern areas of the Gaza Strip, ensuring that families across the region, regardless of location, could access the support they urgently needed. The Gaza Ramadan Grocery Vouchers campaign was made possible through the collective effort of dedicated donors. The Islamic Center of Passaic County in Clifton, NJ contributed 500 purchase vouchers, bringing their community's generosity directly to the tables of families in Gaza. The remaining 8,379 vouchers were funded by FAJR Global, reflecting our ongoing commitment to being a steady and reliable lifeline for those who need it most.

Together, this partnership ensured that thousands of families could experience the blessings of Ramadan with food on their table and hope in their hearts.
